We specialise in used Nissan Leafs — New Zealand's most popular and proven electric vehicle. From time to time we also carry other quality used EVs, but the Leaf is our core focus. Every vehicle we list has been sourced specifically for our inventory, not traded in from a mixed-brand lot.
Yes. Every vehicle undergoes a thorough pre-sale inspection covering mechanical condition, battery health (SOH), compliance status, and cosmetic presentation. We provide full transparency on each listing page so you know exactly what you're buying.
Absolutely. We offer test drives from our Christchurch location by appointment. Get in touch via our contact page or give us a call to arrange a time that suits you.
Yes. Our vehicles come with warranty coverage to give you peace of mind. The specific warranty terms depend on the vehicle and are detailed on each listing. We're always happy to walk you through what's covered.
Our listed prices include GST and on-road costs. There are no hidden fees. What you see on the listing is the drive-away price, unless otherwise stated.
Yes. If you're after a particular model, year, colour, or SOH range that isn't currently in our showroom, we can source it for you. Use our Custom Order page to tell us what you're looking for and we'll get to work.
State of Health is a percentage that represents how much of the battery's original capacity remains. A brand-new Leaf starts at 100% SOH. Over time and use, this number gradually decreases. It's the single most important metric when buying a used EV.
This varies by age and usage, but most of our stock sits between 70% and 90% SOH. We display the SOH prominently on every listing so you can compare easily. Generally, anything above 75% is considered good for a used Leaf.
Real-world range depends on the model year, battery size, SOH, driving style, and conditions. A 24 kWh Leaf with good SOH typically achieves 120–150 km, while a 30 kWh model can reach 180–200 km. The 40 kWh and 62 kWh models offer even more. We list estimated range on every vehicle page.
Yes, all lithium-ion batteries experience gradual degradation. However, it's slower than most people expect. The Nissan Leaf battery is designed to retain significant capacity over many years of normal use. Climate, charging habits, and mileage all influence the rate.
Our SOH readings are taken directly from the vehicle's battery management system using professional diagnostic tools — the same method used by manufacturers, independent testing labs, and fleet analytics companies worldwide. It's worth knowing that SOH is a smart estimate, not a fixed number. It can fluctuate by 1–3% day-to-day based on factors like ambient temperature (cold weather temporarily lowers readings), recent driving patterns, and the battery's charge level at the time of testing. This is completely normal and well-documented across the EV community. For context, even leading independent battery labs like AVILOO acknowledge a +/– 3% tolerance in their testing. We always test under consistent conditions to give you the most reliable snapshot possible. Despite these small natural variations, SOH remains the single best indicator of battery health available — and the Leaf's battery management system is conservative by design, meaning it's more likely to slightly understate health than overstate it.

Yes. We can arrange delivery to anywhere in New Zealand. Delivery costs depend on your location and are quoted at the time of purchase. Many of our customers are outside Christchurch and the process is straightforward.
When a vehicle is marked as "in transit," it means it has been purchased and is on its way to our Christchurch facility but hasn't arrived yet. You can still enquire or place a deposit on in-transit vehicles to secure them before they land.
Absolutely. Local pickup is the simplest option and there's no additional charge. We'll have your vehicle cleaned, charged, and ready for you to drive away on the day.
Every Nissan Leaf comes with a granny charger that plugs into a standard 3-pin household outlet. For faster and more convenient daily charging, we recommend having a dedicated Level 2 (Type 2) wall charger installed by a qualified electrician. Most owners charge overnight and wake up to a full battery.
New Zealand has a growing network of public chargers. ChargeNet is the largest network with fast chargers along major highways. There are also chargers from Meridian, Z Energy, and various local providers. Our Charging Map page shows live charger locations across the country.
Significantly less. On average, charging an EV costs around $3–5 per 100 km on home electricity, compared to $15–20 per 100 km for a typical petrol car. That's roughly an 80% saving on fuel costs. Use our Finance Calculator to see the savings over time.
